LUDHIANA: It was a travel down the memory lane for eight couples who gathered for their couple kitty on Thursday evening. The party was themed Back to School.
Organiser couple Kartik and Shreya Rai was playing the roll of class teacher and school principal, respectively at the party to ensure students relive their chirpy and careless days to the fullest once again.
"Those were the days of our lives. School life always remains close to your heart, irrespective of your age," said Shreya Rai.
Another member at the kitty, Palak Jindal converted the venue into a class room filled with cutouts of numbers, letters and Rubik's cube.
The dress code of the kitty was to wear id-cards, carry school bags, white shirts and pinned pocket handkerchiefs. Instead of regular kitty games, the couples played dam-dam-drum, tic-tac-toe, pugata and name-place-animal-thing.
"It was a fun time. We had a blast and every game brought back millions of memories. I am glad that organizers had such a great idea of games it just multiplied the fun of being a school student again," said Rythum Jindal.
Shikha Jain said: "I wore my daughter's accessories. I wore her clips and bracelets carried her school bag and wore belly's with my school attire. You do get nostalgic when you get ready for back to school kitties."
